Great Plains Trailed Min-Till Drills

Great Plains Min-Till Drills deliver big drill performance in compact machines. These units are ideal for minimum-till conditions thanks to their rugged construction and hydraulically adjustable down pressure that achieves consistent seed placement across the unit’s entire width. Available in two models, the 800 and 1300F, these machines boast working widths of 2.43 meters and 3.96 meters, respectively. The Great Plains Min-Till Drills are capable of distributing seed, fertiliser and small seeds, and with 6″ spacing, they’re well suited to small farming operations or pasture renovation. The 1300F permits simultaneous distribution of seed and fertiliser. Thanks to an internal adjustable partition, the allocated volume of seed and fertiliser can be independently adjusted.

00 Series Openers

00 Series openers are designed for min‐till conditions. They feature 330mm diameter and 4mm thick blades mounted on 205 triple‐lip sealed bearings. The blades have a 6mm leading edge making them more effective to cut through residue and penetrate more challenging ground conditions. A series of long and short openers are staggered at 178mm to provide excellent trash flow characteristics. Inside the opener, a full length seed tube gently guides the seed all the way to the bottom of the trench while the seed flap ensures the seed stays in place. The 2″ x 13″ (51 x 330mm) press wheel presses soil directly over the seed.
